Curling 101

Have you watched curling and wondered if it was for you? This 6 week course is a low risk, low commitment way to try out this popular sport. The emphasis is on having fun. Equipment will be provided. Students will receive instruction on rules, technique and etiquette, as well as plenty of time on the ice to practice.

Curling is great fun and can be played by people of all ages. Fergus has an active and welcoming curling community and is home to the oldest continuously operating curling club in Ontario (established 1834).

Remember, every great curler was once a beginner!

The course meets at the Fergus Curling Club on Tuesday nights at 8:30pm starting October 19th. The cost is $40. If, after taking the course, you decide to join the Fergus Curling Club as a full member you can apply the cost of the course to your membership fees, and you will be eligible (as are all new members) for the new member equipment bonus.

You can pay by cheque or cash at the course or you can pay online.
