The Fergus Curling Club

The Fergus Curling Club was established in 1834 and has operated every year since making it the oldest continuously operating curling club in Ontario.

We are a four sheet club of 260 members. There is a club room, bar, kitchen, and locker rooms. Much of the work around the club is voluntary with the exception of ice-making and caretaking.

The club is managed by a nine person board of directors elected annually from the general membership.

2011 - 2012 Membership Fees

Adult - unlimited	$300.
Friday Mixed Only	$200.
New Curlers	$200.
Little Rocks and Juniors	$75.
Jrs Curling in Adult Leagues	$100.
Lockers	$25.
Social Membership	$60.

Prices do not include HST. There is no building fee. We also have our fabulous free full colour newsletter for you to pick up.

Members new to the club will pay a first year fee of $200 for unlimited curling plus free access to the Curling 101 programme.

A separate, refundable, volunteer cheque for $100 post dated to April 15, 2012 is required from all adult members.

Men and Women paying a full membership fee may curl in any combination of leagues available to them.

Every member of our club is a Club Member not just a league member.

Author Jean Mills has written a new book on the history of the Fergus Curling Club. Titled, The Fergus Curling Club Celebrates 175 Years 1834-2009, it has historical information and pictures that will appeal to curlers and history buffs alike.
