The Fergus Curling Club Celebrates 175 Years of CurlingThe Fergus Curling Club was established in 1834 and has operated every year since making it the oldest continuously operating curling club in Ontario. We are a four sheet club of 260 members managed by a twelve person board of directors elected annually from the general membership. There is a club room, bar, kitchen, and locker rooms. Much of the work around the club is voluntary with the exception of ice-making and caretaking. Starting with our September 26th kick off bonspiel and continuing thoughout the 2009/2010 season, the Fergus Curling Club will be celebrating 175 continuous years of curling! Registration is OpenOnline league registration for Fall 2009 season. New For 2009You can now pay your membership dues online. 2009 - 2010 Membership Fees
GST & PST are included as well as name tags and there is no building fee. We also have our fabulous free full colour newsletter for you to pick up. All curlers new to the club receive a $35 equipment voucher. Men and Women paying a full membership fee may curl in any combination of leagues available to them. Every member of our club is a Club Member not just a league member. |
